You're invited to our 2017 Pencils of Promise Gala: an immersive experience at the intersection of music, technology, art and education. This evening is dedicated to the 250 million kids around the world that can't read or write — one of transformative impact as we aim to bring quality education and unlock the promise of thousands of students.

What if we bring 700 empowered minds with a shared dream under one roof in the heart of Central Park? Eight years ago, it all began with one pencil. We've now built 420 schools and are educating 74,000 students every day — and we're just getting started. This is your story, our story. Your portrait and our dream. A pencil and a dream can change the world, and it starts with you.

Welcome to Portrait of a Dream.

About Pencils of Promise

Pencils of Promise (“PoP”) is a for-purpose organization founded in 2008 with the goal of increasing access to quality education for children in the developing world.
